They created their own DOCTOR'S OFFICE...

We used an X-RAY APP & took pictures of ourselves, the kids thought it was SO COOL!

Outdoor Activity: 

Red Light Green Light while making X's with our arms...

Handwriting & Coloring: Xylophones & Xx's...

We had a special SHOW & TELL & some of the kids brought in X-rays to show the class

And YES, I forgot the letter "W"! Ooops!

SO we will do EASTER next week & the following week will do W!!!

V is for Vegetables

Coloring & Handwriting Practice:

Coloring a variety of Vegetables and practicing handwriting...

Music & Movement:

We found some Vegetables & talked about each of them & the benefits of eating HEALTHY!

Then we took them outside to do some VEGGIE PAINTING!

We painted with CARROTS...

and LETTUCE...

and POTATOES(tater tots)...

and ONIONS...

and GREEN BEANS & they kids had a BLAST!

Sorry if they want to PAINT with their veggies instead of EAT them!
Hopefully the will realize it was just a Preschool Activity;)

We CELEBRATED a birthday this week in our class & his mom brought DOUGHNUTS to share with the class! 

We journalled about the LETTER V this week & the kids made their very own Vans!

Showing off their MUSCLES after a talk about how we are HEALTHIER if we eat our VEGETABLES;)

We had a special helper today---a BIG 7 YEAR OLD(off on Spring Break) & she helped lead the children around the room during Music & Movement!

We celebrated a BIRTHDAY this week!!! His mom brought DELICIOUS cupcakes for the class & we enjoyed them outside:)

Catch the "Turtle". They were really shells, but we pretended:) This helps with hand-eye-coordination!

Arts & Crafts: Scratch the "Magic Turtles" & watch your designs appear! They had so much fun with this activity, I think they could have kept scratching away all day:)

They earned a SPECIAL snack time today & so we ate snack, while we watched Franklin the TURTLE!

We went on a SEARCH FOR GOLD at the end of a Rainbow!

We FOUND the POT OF GOLD...which was actually GREEN SHAMROCK BUBBLES;) But the kids were happy with what the Leprechaun hid for them!

We FOUND some!!! ...well, 3 leaf ones!

Then we MADE A WISH & BLEW OUR SHAMROCKS into the wind!
